Price: £10.99

American Businessman H Ward Lay set up Andeluna in 2003, with the help of the Reina Rutini family, who have been growing grapes in Argentina for 120 years. The Andeluna name and label were chosen to symbolize the romance and mystery of the Argentine moon that illuminates the Uco Valley at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains

Andeluna now has 80hectares at altitudes between 1000m and 1300m at the base of Mt Tupungato.

Chief winemaker Silvio Alberto says Malbecs from this region show wonderful minerals and spices and sweet tannins.

Intense aromas of cherry, black currant, cassis and vanilla with notes of cherry liqueur and dark chocolate combine with lush flavors of raspberries, spices, chocolate and anise that complement the sweet tannins and produce an exceptional wine with intense fruit notes and a long finish – sounds delicious? Go on treat yourself! (We’ll pick up the cost of postage and packing)!
