This is a dry, light bodied crisp wine with gooseberry, passionfruit and nettles. Soft gooseberries, passionfruit and a hint of green tea combine in the exuberant bouquet which culminates in a long, fruity finish

It is perfect as an every day drinker, on its own or with salads, seafood or chicken.

The fruit for this wine was sourced from a selection of vineyards around Marlborough.

The grapes are pressed off with minimal skin contact and then cool fermented in stainless steel to retain its naturally fruity character

Tuatara Bay is made at the Saint Clair Family Estate which is owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson and vinified by Matt Thomson who won the “White Wine-maker of the Year” at the London International Wine Challenge in 2008.

Sealed with a screwcap, this wine delivers all you’d expect from a New Zealand Sauvignon and great value too.
