Ever wanted to know what Whitesnake taste like? Now's your chance as they have bottled the essence of their music in the form of Zinfandel.
Lead singer David Coverdale's love of wine started back in the '70's and the days when he fronted the band Deep Purple. Certainly not taking a back seat in rock music nowadays, David takes the time to indulge in the finer things - one of which being his love of the good stuff.

Riesling in wunderland....

Rheingau vineyards

When the French release a wine there's fan fair and dancing, price wars and road trips. Take Bordeaux's annual en primeur campaign and Beaujolais Nouveau. Other wine producing countries have similar wine occasions too but often they go under the radar for their more modest approach. Take the Germans for example. Good at football, making cars and general efficiency but when it comes to wine they've struggled to reclaim the hearts of this nation that once couldn't get enough of their wines and frequently fail to get the attention they deserve amongst the wine drinking masses.

Based in Manchester’s Spinningfield's’s, the city’s newest quarter built up around the financial and business district, sits a veritable Aladdin's’s cave of bubbling potions, interesting extracts and more home brews than your local CAMRA representative's shed.
Don’t expect a grimy shed though – all of this is set in the white, light, slightly opulent surroundings of Alchemist; Manchester’s finest molecular mixology bar; a place that sets out to fuse drinks/flavours/ingredients in an exceptionally different way.
